Georgia is a beautifully correct and essentially flawless female Johnson or "bully" type American Bulldog. Unlike many of my dogs which are considered giants in the modern American Bulldog world, Georgia is smaller. At 80 pounds and 22.5 inches at the withers (shoulders) Georgia is the smallest American Bulldog I have ever personally bred. Interestingly, that still makes her a pretty big girl on many other breeder's yards, with many popular bloodlines of American Bulldogs typically under 21 inches in height, and females often in the 50-55 pound range. That's something we don't do on my yards, but recognizing that not everyone wants a 90-100+ pound monster, Georgia is our answer for those liking a smaller American Bulldog.

Georgia's father is Blasco's Mambo the Mama's Boy, her mom is Chenier's Betty, out of Walker's American Bulldogs in Silvercreek, Georgia.

Take note of the classic Johnson look you see here, with great color and pigment, traditional Johnson lines, and a square, working dog structure. All feet face forward, front legs are not slung out sloppily to the sides, pasterns are solid and straight - even being pregnant and carrying extra weight. My trainer, Natasha's dog, Spartan (registered Blasco's Red Solo Cup) is Georgia's brother and littermate. He just won Best Johnson Puppy at a UKC show recently, and you can see why, just by looking at his sister.

That's a big, alligator-sized yawn for a little dog. I wish the picture would've turned out better so you could see Georgia's perfect teeth - not one tooth crooked or out of alignment, and just slightly over a 1/4 inch bully underbite. Like I said, Georgia is a very correct and absolutely gorgeous American Bulldog girl. We named her Georgia because 50 years ago if you'd have gone to Georgia looking for a female American Bulldog, this is exactly what you would've found... but not today. Now days you don't see many dogs like Georgia running around.

Here's Georgia with Maria having carefully climbed up on the couch to sleep on top of her, gentle enough to not even wake her. Georgia is a gentle, loving and docile girl, friendly with everyone but bad guys, and just sweet as Georgia peaches.

However, don't get the wrong idea. Georgia is a Blasco dog through and through, highly alert, energetic and protective. Here she snaps her head around quick to spy the front door as it opens. If a stranger came walking through alone, we'd never get this shot, cause she'd be a streak of white lightning and rolling thunder, looking to stop him at the door and await the ok.
